Attending a Concert

  • Whatever makes you comfortable. Dress up, dress down - there’s no dress code.

  • Most musical compositions are divided into several "movements," much like a play's acts. Silent pauses will occur between movements because people often only applaud at the conclusion of a piece. But our programs offer you an estimate of how long each item is in case you're not sure. To be sure, simply wait until other begin applauding.

  • You’ll still be able to enter the hall after the performance starts. You’ll be guided in by the ushers when there’s a break in the music, usually between a movement or at the end of a piece.

  • Doors typically open 30 mins before the performance begins to allow the audience plenty of time to be seated!

  • Feel free to take photographs between pieces, but we ask that phones are off and away during the performance to maximise the expereience of live performance!
